Radio Swiss Pop – POP NON STOP!
SRG SSR’s 24-hour back-to-back music station for pop and soft rock offers listeners not only the latest hits, but also an exceptionally broad repertoire of the best and most familiar pop songs from the past 30 years. Our music programmers also attach a great deal of importance to giving the Swiss music scene airtime on Radio Swiss Pop.
Our format
Our music programming follows a simple rule, namely that we play whatever the majority of our listeners like to hear. To this end, we have created the following feedback opportunities:
- Every listener to our station can sign up for the Radio Swiss Pop music jury. Jury members are sent a dozen tracks each week for them to listen to and rate.
- In addition, every single track played on the station can be rated via the playlist.
- Radio Swiss Pop also stages regular auditorium tests where several hundred tracks are played to a group of around 120 pop fans to gauge their opinion.
The results of all this listener feedback flow directly into Radio Swiss Pop’s programming.

Listener interest continues to grow
Some 270’000 Swiss people listen to Radio Swiss Pop every day via cable, satellite or digital radio. In December 2009, over 17’000 people a day listened to the live stream via the internet.
