Brook Benton, all'anagrafe Benjamin Franklin Peay[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] (Camden, 19 settembre 1931 – Queens, 9 aprile 1988), è stato un cantautore statunitense (segnatamente: afro-americano), in attività principalmente tra la fine degli anni cinquanta e la fine degli anni sessanta[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] e che era dedito ai generi soul, pop e R&B[1][3][7].
Tra i suoi brani più famosi, figurano It's Just a Matter of Time, Thank You Pretty Baby, So Many Ways (1959), Endlessly (1959) e Rainy Night in Georgia (1970).[1][2][3][4][5][6]
