Eddie Safranski
Edward 'Eddie' Safranski (December 25, 1918 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania January 10, 1974 in Los Angeles, California) was an American jazz double bassist best known for his work with Stan Kenton. He had also worked with Charlie Barnet and Benny Goodman[1] From 1946 to 1953 he won the Down Beat Readers' Poll for bassist.[2]
