Hubert Laws est un flûtiste américain né le 10 novembre 1939 à Houston, dans l'État du Texas. Fort d'une carrière de plus de 40 années, Laws est un musicien particulièrement doué, et un des seuls flûtistes contemporains doté d'un répertoire allant du jazz à la musique classique^[1].
