Daniel "Diggy" Simmons, III (born March 21, 1995) is an American rapper and the fourth child of the influential hip hop icon Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons. He, along with his parents and five siblings were the primary subjects of the MTV reality television show Run's House.

Run's House

Diggy Simmons first appeared in the popular MTV reality show, Run's House. The show followed the day-to-day life of the Simmons family, especially focusing on the family's unique take on the parent-child dynamic.

He released a remix of Asher Roth's "She Don't Want A Man", which received minor airplay on Los Angeles radio. [1]. The positive feedback inspired him to create a mixtape, which would be known as The First Flight.

In 2010, he released a music video of him rapping over the music for Nas's single "Made You Look", which ended up gaining over 2 million views.[2]. Soon afterward, he signed a record contract with Atlantic Records and released the mixtape Airborne. Simmons and a song from Airbone, "Great Expectations," were featured in a commercial for AT&T's mobile service. [3].

In June of 2011, Simmons released his debut single for Atlantic Records, entitled "Copy, Paste."[4] He performed the single at the BET Awards of 2011[5], which was also his first televised performance. Diggy explained that "Copy, Paste is just for people that are original, people that are innovators, people that just do their own thing"[6]. In 2011, he collaborated with artist Jacob Latimore on a song entitled "Like Em All" and with Mindless Behavior on "Mrs. Right" .

Chivalrous Culture Sneaker Line

In 2010, Diggy Simmons launched a line of urban sneakers called Chivalrous Culture. The first shoe model is referred to as "Hamachi".[7]
